Inside The Basket

Baby's First Easter Basket!

My baby boy is now two months old and I faced the question, do I make him an Easter basket? Of course!! It's his first Easter and although he may not understand the concept it's fun for me to build him a basket. So the next thing that crossed my mind was what can you put in a basket for a baby? So by default I looked on Pinterest (honestly can be a lifesaver sometimes). I got a bunch of ideas for all sorts of things like what to use as a basket and what to put in it.

I saw the idea of using a toy dump truck as the basket and fell in love. I won't be doing that this year but maybe next year when he can grab things properly and will hopefully be walking. So for now I just have a plain green basket with orange filler to do the trick.

Now what could I buy to fill this lovely basket for my baby boy? There was all sorts of things, bubbles, bath toys, tethers, soothers, spoons, baby food. The list goes on forever! But my husband and I are picky on certain things, we refuse to but pre made baby food so that takes that off the list. So this is what we got to put in his basket.

Two spring coloured onesies;

A couple Easter themed bath toys;

A vibrating teether and some soft spoons;

And four Elmo nursery rhyme books;

**We went and bought a few last minute things..

An Easter book;

And a big fuzzy bunny;
